BAM Poetry Set Design
As set designer for the 2013 Poetry show Denise was asked to incorporate a stage design for a diverse group of poets, dancers and musicians.
The challenge was to bring a design to the stage that each performer could interact with and incorporate into their piece.
Painting 7 mandalas - 5 directly onto the floor and two on platforms- Denise was able to provide grounding points for everyone, bring color to the set and maintain a minimal design that provided a positive environment for both audience and performers alike.
